Performance Characteristics
- For the 12-pulse rectifier transformer, the high-voltage coils are connected in parallel, and the low-voltage coils adopt d/connection modes respectively to provide separate rectified power, forming a 12-pulse rectifier transformer.
- For the 24-pulse rectifier transformer bank, after phase shifting the high-voltage windings of two 12-pulse rectifier transformers to the left and right, the phase difference of 30° between their respective low-voltage double-split windings (d-connection) and low-voltage double-split windings (y-connection) ultimately forms phases of +22.5°, +7.5°, -7.5°, and -22.5°. Consequently, the low-voltage side outputs a 12-phase, 24-pulse voltage.
- The 12-pulse rectifier transformer can effectively suppress or eliminate high-order harmonics up to the 11th order; the 24-pulse rectifier transformer can effectively suppress or eliminate high-order harmonics up to the 23rd order, making it the mainstream rectification solution currently.
